We have a state of the art breeding and care facility near Columbus, Ohio with a small team of dedicated and enthusiastic animal care professionals.
We currently have a full time and part time Animal Care Specialist position available.
Candidate will be responsible for the general husbandry of guinea pigs, parakeets, conures, and cockatiels.
This will include; cleaning and disinfecting of animal enclosures, feeding of animal collection, monitoring the basic health and well being of the animals, care for sick animals, and the record keeping of all breeding; pairing and births.
Candidate must be in good physical health able to lift on average 50lbs, bend frequently, and be able to work on your feet for hours at a time.
They will need to be self motivated and passionate about animal care.
They must also be able to work independently as well as in a group setting.
Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
